Like a seed given the right conditions to grow, small steps today can create meaningful change for years to come.
Many of the people I work with have spent years in survival mode—doing what they need to do to get through the day, meet expectations, and keep moving forward.
Healing often requires something different.
It requires space to slow down, reflect, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way. It requires flexibility, individualized care, and the freedom to focus on what matters most to you—not just what can be justified to an insurance company.
That's why I've intentionally built my practice around autonomy, privacy, and personalized treatment. The benefits of therapy often extend far beyond the time spent in session.
Choosing private-pay therapy allows our work together to remain centered on you.
While insurance can be a valuable resource for many people, it often comes with requirements that can limit flexibility and influence the direction of treatment.
By operating as a private-pay practice, I am able to offer:
Greater privacy and confidentiality
No required mental health diagnosis for treatment
Flexibility in treatment goals and session frequency
The freedom to choose the therapeutic approaches that best fit your needs
Care that is guided by your progress rather than insurance limitations
The ability to focus on growth, healing, and self-discovery—not just symptom reduction
Your investment in therapy extends beyond the time we spend together in session. In order to provide thoughtful, personalized care, I intentionally maintain a practice structure that allows me to be fully present for my clients.
Your investment supports:
Personalized treatment planning
Preparation and reflection between sessions
Collaboration with other professionals involved in your care
Ongoing professional development and specialized training
High-quality care tailored to your individual needs
I believe that meaningful healing deserves time, attention, and care—and I strive to bring those qualities into every aspect of my work.
Therapy is an investment in your wellbeing, your relationships, and your future.
For many clients, the work begins with finding relief from stress, anxiety, trauma, or feeling stuck. Over time, however, therapy becomes a place to reclaim a greater sense of freedom:
Freedom from patterns that no longer serve you
Freedom from constantly living in survival mode
Freedom to understand yourself more fully
Freedom to set healthier boundaries
Freedom to build stronger relationships
Freedom to make choices that align with the life you want to create
You deserve more than simply getting through each day. You deserve the opportunity to build a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and authentically your own.
Ongoing therapy sessions provide a consistent space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences while developing insight and practical coping strategies. These sessions build on the foundation established in the intake, focusing on progress toward your goals through evidence-based interventions and collaborative reflection. Treatment is tailored to your evolving needs to support meaningful and lasting growth.

FAQ's
We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, HSA cards, and FSA cards.
To help keep billing simple and secure, we require an active credit or debit card to remain on file. If you'd prefer to pay using cash, check, or another accepted payment method, just let us know before the end of your session so we can make those arrangements.
Payments are processed securely through the Sessions Health client portal.
A superbill is an itemized receipt for therapy services that you can submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement for out-of-network benefits.
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network coverage, your insurance company may reimburse you for a portion of your session fees. The amount you receive depends on your specific plan.
I'm happy to provide a superbill upon request. If you're unsure whether your plan includes out-of-network benefits, I encourage you to contact your insurance company, or feel free to ask if you have questions about the process.
If you'd rather not submit claims yourself, ask about Thrizer, which can simplify the out-of-network reimbursement process.
Yes! We are currently in-network with most commercial Blue Cross Blue Shield plans.
If we're not in-network with your insurance plan, you still have options.
Superbills
We can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company to request out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement amounts vary depending on your individual plan.
Thrizer
We're also piloting the use of Thrizer, an optional service that makes using out-of-network benefits much easier.
Instead of paying the full session fee upfront and waiting to be reimbursed, Thrizer estimates your out-of-network responsibility based on your insurance benefits. In many cases, you'll simply pay your estimated copay or coinsurance at the time of your session, and Thrizer handles submitting the claim and paying the practice directly.
This can make therapy more financially manageable by reducing large upfront payments and eliminating the wait for insurance reimbursement.
If you'd like to learn more about how Thrizer works or whether it's a good option for your insurance plan, just let us know or visit Thrizer's website.
***We are in-network with Medicare. Medicare coverage applies only to eligible services and does not cover all therapy formats or specialty services. We're happy to help you understand your options before scheduling.
That's completely okay—and very common.
Finding the right therapist matters. You deserve to work with someone you feel comfortable with and can be honest with, and it's normal if you don't know whether that's me before we've met.
The initial intake is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, talk about what's bringing you to therapy, and see whether we're a good fit. If we decide that working together isn't the best next step, there are absolutely no hard feelings. If I'm not the right therapist for you, I'm happy to offer referrals and help point you toward someone who may be a better fit.
Rather than offering brief consultation calls, I invite new clients to schedule an intake session.
Over time, I found that consultation calls often turned into full intake conversations. I never want either of us to feel rushed or like we have to watch the clock while discussing something as important as your story and what you're looking for in therapy.
An intake gives us dedicated time to explore what brings you in, discuss your goals, and determine whether we're a good fit to work together. Scheduling an intake does not mean you're committing to ongoing therapy. It's simply an opportunity for us to get to know one another and decide on the next steps together.
Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate to clients who are uninsured or choosing not to use insurance.
A Good Faith Estimate outlines the expected cost of your therapy services so you can make informed decisions about your care. While your treatment needs may change over time, the estimate provides a reasonable expectation of the costs you can anticipate.
If you are paying out of pocket or not using your insurance benefits, you'll receive a Good Faith Estimate before or at the start of treatment. If you have any questions about your estimate or what it includes, I'm happy to discuss it with you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to a cancelation fee.
We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can happen. If something outside of your control prevents you from attending your appointment, please reach out as soon as possible so we can discuss your situation.
My current private pay fees are:
Initial Intake Assessment (55 minutes): $350
55-minute Individual or Couples Therapy Session: $325
90-minute Extended Therapy Session: $465
120-minute Extended Therapy Session: $570
In-Home Therapy Travel Fee: $35
Equine Therapy Facility Fee: $55
If you plan to use insurance, your out-of-pocket costs will depend on your specific benefits. Please note that travel fees for in-home therapy and equine facility fees are separate from therapy services and are not covered by insurance.
I believe in being transparent about the cost of therapy. For most clients, the only charges will be the session fees listed above.
In some situations, additional professional services—such as extensive care coordination, clinical consultation with other providers (with your written permission), or other services outside of regularly scheduled therapy sessions—may be billed when appropriate. Any potential charges and billing policies are outlined in your informed consent paperwork, and I'm always happy to answer questions so you aren't surprised by any hidden fees.
